NL Doet refurbishment day - The beautiful, traditional salmon fishing vessel Vischhandel1 from 1903 has arrived in Lauwersoog. The museum piece is now next to restaurant t Ailand. Come and admire the vessel or help Goede Vissers Jan & Barbara to renovate during the weekend of NL Doet. They are also busy refurbishing the traps.

NL Doet opknapdag - De prachtige, traditionele zalmdrijver de Vischhandel1 uit 1903 is gearriveerd in Lauwersoog. Het museumstuk staat nu naast t Ailand. Kom de zalmdrijver bewonderen of help ons mee opknappen.  Wij gaan er mee bezig tijdens NL Doet. Daarnaast gaan we bezig met de fuiken opknappen.

Salmon lunch world fishmigration day

At the traditional salmon fishing vessel Vischhandel1 (1903) we will serve a special lunch with lots of vegetables and different preparations of wild salmon. Between the courses there will be presentations about the ecological importance of salmon and the historical importance for food culture and as a source of wealth. The proceeds will be used to make the traditional salmon fishing vessel ready, including the necessary information materials.

Zalm lunch wereld vismigratiedag

ZA 21 APR 2018

Op de traditionele zalmdrijver Vischhandel1 (1903) serveren we een speciale lunch met veel groenten en verschillende zalmgerechten. Tussen de gangen door zijn er presentaties over het ecologische belang van zalm, en de historische betekenis voor eetcultuur en als bron van welvaart. De opbrengst wordt gebruikt voor het gereed maken van de zalmdrijver en het bijbehorende informatiemateriaal.
